TS ePass Telangana Scholarships

Telangana State Scholarship TS ePass department inviting online applications from eligible candidates from the State of Telangana for Postmatric Scholarships For Fresh Registration (2018-19) and Postmatric Scholarships For Renewal Registration(2018-19) on or before 31-12-2018.

Government of Telangana has released Pre Matric TS ePASS application for scholarships for the academic year 2018-19. The candidates can apply online for Pre Matric TS ePASS Scholarship 2018-19. There are two categories of ePASS Scholarship which are Pre-Matric and Post-Matric. Telangana ePASS Scholarship is distributed to the students from the economically weaker section categories (SC/ST/BC/EBC/DW/MW). The eligible candidates can apply for TS ePASS Scholarship 2018-19 from this page. Electronic Payment and TS application System of Scholarships in Telangana is commonly known as TS ePASS. Telangana ePASS is the Winner of CSI-Nihilent e-Governance Award. It is assisting many bright students and making their future secured. This Fee Reimbursement is given to SC, ST, BC, EBC candidates whose annual Income is less than One Lakh. Along with this, Physically challenged candidates are also eligible for this Telangana ePASS. The NCC Cadets, offsprings of Ex-Servicemen, are also eligible for Telangana ePASS.

Those who eligible for TS ePass Scholarships, they have to utilize the Government funds for college fee, Library fee, and other academic books fee. Ts epass eligibility

As mentioned earlier, it is important for candidates to make sure that they fulfill the TS ePASS scholarship eligibility criteria

The candidates must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/DW/MW category
The candidates need to maintain 75% attendance at the end of each quarter in case of renewal
Candidates who belong to the SC or ST category must make sure that the family income must not exceed 2 lakhs rupees per annum
The family income of BC and Minority welfare student from Rural and Urban areas must not be more than 1.5 lakhs and 2 lakhs annually
EBC and Disabled Welfare Students must not be more than 1 lakh rupees per annum

Candidates who are not eligible

Other than these categories i.e. SC/ST/BC/EBC/DW/MW
The candidates pursuing the part-time or online course
The candidates enrolled under management or sponsored quota seats

Telangana ePass Scholarship Status Check Online

Given below is step by step procedure of checking the Telangana ePass scholarship status online.

First, go the official website
Visit the official website of Telangana ePass telanganapass.cgg.gov.in. if you are from Andhra Pradesh, then visit www.apepass.cgg.gov.in.
Once you do so, you would get a page which would ask you to enter state i.e. Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. After selecting the state, it’s easier to check status.
Once the state is selected, there would appear a page for security. Click on the option “Advanced” and then click on the option “Proceed to Telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in”.
Sometimes, this screen might not appear and you will directly be redirected to the website.
Select the option “Scholarship Status”
When you proceed further, you need to check the option of “Scholarship status”.
You can do so by hovering the mouse on ‘Scholarship section’ which falls under the section “Kalyana Lakshmi”.
All you need to do is click on “Scholarship status”.
Enter the necessary details
After checking the option “Scholarship status”, you would be redirected to a new page, wherein you would have an option of “Post metric” or “Pre-matric”.
After selecting the right option, you need to enter your application number. You also need to select the academic year properly.
After that, enter the SSC hall ticket number, followed by the year you have passed.
SSC pass type also needs to be selected If SSC is cleared in the first attempt itself, the option “AP Regular”needs to be selected.
Even the date of birth needs to update in a proper and specific format. For example, if 8th April 1991 is your birth date, then you need to enter it as 08041991.
Check all the details and get the TS ePass application status
After entering all details, select the “Get status” option. Once you do so, you will get all the details, along with transactions and photographs.
You will see 2 options. If the application status has been updated as “Sent to Treasury”, it means that your scholarship is sanctioned and is sent to the Treasury Department, who will then send it to your bank. If it’s showing “Pending at DO for Sanction”, it means that your application hasn’t been sanctioned.

Then TS Epass home page will open as shown below.
Then click on ‘Student Service’ icon.
It will redirect to the ‘Student Service’ page as shown below
Click on ‘Click Here’ option.
Then it will redirect to the ‘Post Metric Scholarship Application Registration Form 2016-17’ page will open as shown below.
Fill the required details, i.e., SSC Hall Ticket No, DOB, SSC Pass Year.
After filling press ‘Enter’ button.
Again it will ask to select ‘CET’ or ‘NONCET’, Click on ‘CET.
Fill the student CET details, and click on ‘Submit’ button.
