The Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) is a department of the government of Sikkim that is responsible for governing the recruitment of personnel into the state’s public service. The Sikkim Public Service Commission started functioning from 1982 with the appointment of the Chairman and deputation of the staff from the State Government. Sikkim’s capitaland largest city is Gangtok. Almost 35% of the state is covered by the Khangchendzonga National Park.
