Online applications are inviting from eligible candidates. The apply online link will get activated from 02nd January. RRB SSE Recruitment 2019

The selection of the candidates under RRB SSE Recruitment 2019 recruitment will be done on the basis of CBT 1 and 2, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. RRB SSE Application Fee

The application fee for the RRB SSE Recruitment 2019 is as follows:

  • For SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PwD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class – Rs. 250.
  • For all the remaining categories – Rs. 500.
  • The amount of all application fee can be paid online, via Net Banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card.

Refund of Railway SSE Application Fee

Indian Railway refunds application fee amount to those candidates who appear for CBT. To Reserved category candidates Rs. 250 will be refunded. To candidates belonging to other category, Rs. 400 will be refunded.

Educational Qualification for SSE

Interested candidates should possess Minimum Educational Qualification Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines

Candidates who are willing to apply for the RRB SSE Jobs2018, should be graduates of B.E/B.Tech with minimum qualifying marks. Railway SSE Application Form Correction and Modification

RRB allows modification and correction in the application form. Candidates should make sure that they fill all the details in the application form correctly. Yet, there is any error in the form then the candidates will be able to modify it when the RRB SSE Modification widow opens. For modification candidates will have to pay fee amount of Rs. 250. The candidates only be able to edit few details.

RRB SSE Salary Details

The candidates under RRB SSE Recruitment will get Level 6th of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- and other allowances as admissible by RRB.

RRB SSE 2019 CBT 1 and 2 Details

This time, there will be two CBTs. The details for these will be available soon with the official notification of RRB SSE CEN 03/2018. The pattern of the examination last time was as follows:

Languages – The exam is expected to be held in English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odiya, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, and Malayalam.

Questions – All the questions in the exam will be of multiple choice type. Question will be asked from:

  • General Awareness
  • Arithmetic
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Science and Technical Ability

Number of Questions – In all there will be around 150 questions. The distribution of questions will be as follows:

Visual Standards: Distance Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses (must clear fogging test) and must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.

  • Select the board you want to apply.

  • Go to Candidate Login.
  • Provide registration number and password which you may have received on your registered email or phone number.

Third Stage

Apply for RRB Technical Jobs Online Application, Third stage Process:

  • Go to make payment option (you can complete the payment procedure through debit cards or net banking)
  • If a candidate wants to complete the payment procedure offline by following below mentioned procedure:
  • Download the bank challan pre-filled with their specific details and make the payment in any branch of SBI and associated banks.
  • Once the payment is done, the candidates should again login to proceed with the registration.

Fourth Stage

  • Upload a recent photograph
  • The candidates from SC / ST category, who wish to avail free travel authority, have to upload the scanned copy of their caste certificate in JPG / JPEG format
  • If PWD eligible candidates want to avail the services of a scribe are required to upload a scanned photograph of the scribe in JPG / JPEG format.

RRB SSE Admit Card 2019

The admit card of Railway Senior Section Engineer 2019 will be released online and in order to download it registration number and date of birth will be needed. The admit card will contain all the details about the exam city, centre, timing, reporting time, exam date, student, etc. The candidates will have to download it online and carry a hard copy of it on the exam day.

Railway demands that along with the admit card, candidates also carry one photo id proof and a passport size photograph. The passport size photo should be the same as the one uploaded in the application form. Whereas, the photo id proof can be a voter id card, aadhaar card, college id card, employee id, passport, etc.

RRB SSE Result 2019

The result of the examination will be available as a pdf on RRB Official site, in which the roll number of the qualified candidates will be mentioned. RRB will also announce the score of the candidates. It will be available via login. The candidates will need registration number and date of birth to access it. The marks of the candidates in all the subSSEct and over all will be mentioned. Those who will qualify, will be called for the next round of recruitment.

About RRB SSE

The first railway on Indian sub-continent ran over a stretch of 21 miles from Bombay to Thane. The idea of a railway to connect Bombay with Thane, Kalyan and with the Thal and Bhore Ghats inclines first occurred to Mr. George Clark, the Chief Engineer of the Bombay Government, during a visit to Bhandup in 1843.

The formal inauguration ceremony was performed on 16th April 1853, when 14 railway carriages carrying about 400 guests left Bori Bunder at 3.30 pm “amidst the loud applause of a vast multitude and to the salute of 21 guns.” The first passenger train steamed out of Howrah station destined for Hooghly, a distance of 24 miles, on 15th August, 1854. Thus the first section of the East Indian Railway was opened to public traffic, inaugurating the beginning of railway transport on the Eastern side of the subcontinent.
