NSCL Selection Process
Written Test – The candidates who had filled the application form for the post of NSCL are invited for the Written Test of the DGM, Executive Trainees 2019. After that qualified candidates will be selected for the next round of competition.
Personal Interview: The candidates who got selected in the Written Test are called for the personal interview of the DGM, Executive Trainees 2019. The final appointment will be made on the basis of the personal interview and documentation.

Tips for preparation of Written Examination
- All candidates should give maximum time to their study regularly.
- Candidates should make their study time or schedule of the day and accordingly start to preparing i.e. make sure to divide your entire time between all related subjects and prepare accordingly daily.
- Candidates requires to maximum use of flow charts and diagram to understand deeply the concern topic.
- Candidates must regular practice to solve old year examination papers; with this you will be able to increase your knowledge as well as time accuracy.
- Group study is very useful to crack any written examination so we therefore advise to all concern contenders to make a group of eligible and suitable friends and study together one or two hour in a day and arise your question before them and explain your answer to others too.
- Time breaks is also essential while preparing hard for any written examination so after 2-3 hours study candidates should take a break of 15-20 minutes for mind fresh.

About National Seeds Corporations Limited (NSCL)
National Seeds Corporation Ltd. (NSC) is a Schedule ‘B’- Mini Ratna Category-I company wholly owned by Government of India under the administrative control of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. NSC was established in March-1963 to undertake production of foundation and certified seeds. At present, it is undertaking production of certified seeds of nearly 600 varieties of 60 crops in its Farms and through its registered seed growers. There are about 8 Farms and 12500 registered seed growers all over the country who are undertaking the seed production Programmes in different agro-climatic conditions. The turnover of the Corporation for the F.Y. 2016-17 was 882.82 Crores.
There are 10 Regional Offices, 8 Farms and 65 Area Offices/Sub-Units of the Corporation spread all over the country. In the seed production, emphasis is given for production of oil seeds, pulses and hybrids including vegetables. NSC has established strict Quality Control procedure to ensure supply of quality seed to farmers. NSC has established 4 Quality Control Laboratories, one each at New Delhi, Secunderabad, Bhopal and Suratgarh to undertake seed testing to check the quality of seeds. Besides, production and distribution of quality seeds, NSC is also involved in the production of Tissue Culture Plants like Banana.
It also undertakes supply of seedlings/saplings of fruits crops through procurement from the MOU Partners. Seed marketing is carried out through three channels namely sale through dealers/distributors, Govt. (State/Central) and through NSC owned Sale counter. There are about 2500 dealers of the Corporation who account for more than 69% of the sale.
