Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil Engg. OR 5 Year Integrated Master’s degree OR Dual Degree Programme in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering from recognised Indian University/Institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for General / OBC and 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates + Minimum of 2 Years’ post qualification experience in the following area:
Experience: Execution of Civil and structural works in Infrastructure Industries such as Power Plants, Steel, Cement, Refineries, Petro-chemical or any other Large Scale Industrial / Infrastructure Projects. Experience in Execution of RCC & Steel Construction, Piling and Foundation works for installation of plant / factory / refineries etc. Experience in Project Management of Civil. Capabilities: Project Execution capabilities with good ability on problem solving, time and resource management and decision making. Good Computer knowledge on MS Office, Auto CAD. Note: Experience in Power Sector is preferable.
Supervisor (FTA-Civil)
Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Indian University / Institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for General / OBC and 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.
Minimum of 2 Years’ post qualification experience in the following area: Experience: Experience in execution of Civil and structural works in Infrastructure Industries such as Power Plants, Steel, Cement, Refineries, Petro-chemical or any other Large Scale Industrial / Infrastructure Projects. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer.
BHEL was established in 1964 ushering in the indigenous Heavy Electrical Equipment industry in India. Heavy Electricals (India) Limited was merged with BHEL in 1974. In 1991, BHEL was converted into a public limited company. Over time, it developed the capability to produce a variety of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipments for all sectors, including transmission, transportation, oil and gas and other allied industries. However, the bulk of the revenue of the company is derived from sale of equipment for power generation such as turbines, boilers, etc.
As of 2017, BHEL supplied equipment contributed to about 55% of the total installed power generation capacity of India. The company has also supplied thousands of Electric Locomotives to Indian Railway, as well as defence equipment such as the Super Rapid Gun Mount (SRGM) naval guns and Defence Simulators to the Indian Armed Forces.
